PLEASE NOTE : OUR MANIFESTO IS SUBJECT TO A CERTAIN DEGREE OF CHANGE

The principles and emphases of the policies in our manifesto are key and are fundamental to where this party is coming from.

However, whilst the general direction of policy will remain largely unchanged, inevitably, as a new party, policy detail within most areas will almost certainly need to be updated in the light of new information, better perspectives and changes in circumstances.

In particular, the 'affordability factor' may well mean that some policies are realistic only if pursued at modest pace over the long-term, whilst others are perhaps inherently either fiscally or politically impossible. Where this proves to be the case, rather than just abandoning policies in their entirety, our approach will be to simply implement as much of the original policy as possible — whilst continuing to pursue a reasonable approach and a balanced budget (over the economic cycle).

Notwithstanding this concession, the policies contained within our current manifesto, represent both a complete, accurate and honest statement of the party's current policies and a declaration of our intended long-term direction of travel.
