Today, half a century on from that fateful day in 1973 when the Rubicon was crossed to undemocratic transnational governance in Britain — when Ted Heath's Conservative government took Britain into the fledgling EU without a referendum vote — evidence continues to mount, that, even post-Brexit, BRITAIN AND HER PEOPLE ARE TRAVELLING THE WELL-WORN ROAD TO TYRANNY, SERFDOM AND INHUMANITY...

Our Leaders No Longer Believe In Democracy

Democratic politics should not, must not, be about playing silly word games — as though superficially 'winning the debate' through quick-fire verbal trickery, false accusation and twisted statistics somehow establish truth, justify policy and make for a better world.


Nor should democratic political debate be a (quasi-religious) game of superficial 'holier than thou' moral one-upmanship — with politicians endlessly declaring their own policies the most (absolutely) 'right', and competing to show their parties are the most (undemocratically) 'global minded' or the most (unjustly) 'politically correct'.

In a meaningful democracy, and in a world full of imperfect people with their own varying beliefs about what is truly 'right', discovering (even) the (genuinely) most principled course, doesn't even begin to justify just rigidly and ruthlessly imposing that course on an entire society against the known wishes and inner beliefs of a majority within that society — this was the mistake of the mediaeval church.

So, quite regardless of any agreement with (genuinely) sound (absolute) moral principles, balanced fair-minded policy-making — which operates at the level of society and not that of inner personal belief — needs to be justifiable on DEMOCRATIC grounds too, respecting any expressed or known settled political will of the people.


And at a more fundamental level still, what if politicians' conceptions about what is 'right' are fundamentally wrong?!

...being (mis)informed by :

- an over-weening ambition for others' lives

- a belief that grand envisaged ends justify almost any means necessary to achieve them

- a thoroughgoing belief in the 'legitimacy' of the convenient, corrupt, corrupting power of the lie

- an abiding inner commitment to rationalise away life's immutable, inconvenient moral demands

- and an immoral, unreal (oc)cultic worldview

...producing policies that are inevitably FUNDAMENTALLY at odds with conscience, common sense and the moral and spiritual realities of life and of the human condition — ultimately coming from an inner place, not of (the) Truth, but of darkness, lies and self-deception

...and spawning a Nazi-like conviction that inhuman authoritarianism and cruelty, and just writing-off the most fundamental human rights and most dearly-held beliefs of entire nations and entire generations of law-abiding, government-respecting people (of FUNDAMENTALLY EQUAL worth to themselves) is — somehow — 'justified' — and somehow — 'right'.

AS 'MOST EVERY ORDINARY CITIZEN INSTINCTIVELY KNOWS, FOR GOVERNMENT POLICY TO BE TRULY LEGITIMATE, IT MUST NEVER TRANSGRESS THE FUNDAMENTAL HUMAN RIGHT OF EVERY LIVING ADULT TO LIFE, LIBERTY, THE

PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS (ON THEIR OWN TERMS, AND NOT THOSE OF GOVERNMENT), FREEDOM OF CONSCIENCE AND FREEDOM OF SPEECH.


And whatever the grand ultimate goals and regardless of the personal sincerity of ministers, responsible democratic government must NEVER use the authority of government or a nation's public culture to constantly command and condemn law-abiding citizens, or to issue divisive, sectarian calls for like-minded individuals and organisations to do the same — as has been the case on EU policy, political correctness, moves towards transnational global governance, and the draconian policies of the Covid tyranny.

SADLY, FOR MOST OF OUR POLITICIANS, MAINSTREAM MEDIA AND BIG BUSINESS LEADERS, DEMOCRACY HAS BECOME A DIRTY WORD.

AND THE ETHICAL VALUES THAT ACCORD WITH CONSCIENCE AND COMMON SENSE, THEY NOW EQUATE WITH IGNORANCE AND OPPRESSION.

THEY DON'T EVEN BELIEVE IN TELLING THE PUBLIC THE TRUTH ABOUT KEY DIRECTION-SETTING, NATION-DEFINING GOVERNMENT POLICIES.

Our leaders have forgotten that far from being ‘optional extras’, A PUBLIC CULTURE BUILT UPON MORAL TRUTH AND A POLITICAL SYSTEM BASED UPON NATIONAL DEMOCRACY ARE THE TWIN FOUNDING PRINCIPLES OF MODERN CIVILISATION ITSELF. These principles are also the ordinary citizen’s best defence against tyranny from those in government.


Just ask those fighting for basic political freedoms in the Ukraine, Brazil, Egypt or Hong Kong. They know what democracy is all about. Or all those fleeing to Britain in their hundreds of thousands to escape the tyranny of undemocratic corrupt government-knows-best regimes in the Balkans, in Russia, in China, or in Africa. And ask those living in undemocratic nations torn apart by civil war — because lacking any meaningful democracy, there was simply no other established way of peaceably settling significant points of political or cultural difference. No other way of providing a moderating, naturally-unifying focus for one and for all. Ask them. But don't bother asking our dismissive, rationalising elite cliques. Sadly, they are so out-of-touch, so lost in their heads, they genuinely, 'just don't get it'

THE WONDER, THE POWER AND THE BEAUTY OF A MEANINGFUL VOTE — LIKE THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE WHERE TO SHOP — IS THAT IT IS A SIMPLE AND EFFECTIVE WAY FOR INDIVIDUALLY-POWERLESS CITIZENS TO COME TOGETHER AND FORCE CHANGE ON THOSE PROVIDING ALL THE SERVICES AND MAKING ALL THE RULES. A MEANINGFUL VOTE IS THEREFORE THE ORDINARY PERSON'S ONLY REAL PEACEABLE DEFENCE AGAINST TYRANNY FROM THOSE IN GOVERMENT. THIS IS NO SMALL THING.

The Drive Towards Undemocratic Transnational Government Continues — And So Must The Fight For MEANINGFUL Democracy

DEMOCRACIES MAKE THEIR OWN LAWS — THEY DON'T TRANSFER THEIR LAWMAKING POWERS TO INSTITUTIONS OVER WHICH VOTERS HAVE NO CONTROL!!

Even after the Brexit vote, and Brexit itself, it would be naive to believe that the political, media and big business clique have 'just given up' on their decades-long, almost-completed, plan to establish undemocratic transnational lawmaking in Britain. Life's 'movers and shakers' NEVER just give up.

During the 2016 EU Referendum debate, it became apparent that the main objection of most 'Eurosceptic' MPs to EU-rule was NOT a principled objection to the undemocratic transfer of lawmaking powers away from Britain to transnational lawmaking institutions(!!), but simply EU red tape and the fact that EU membership prevented Britain from striking its own trade deals around the world!

It is therefore no surprise that, in spite of all the heated rhetoric during the referendum campaign, the Trade and Cooperation Agreement implementing the agreed Brexit Deal AMOUNTS TO ONLY A SEMI-BREXIT. Although Britain no longer has 70% of its laws made for it DIRECTLY by the EU, and now has the 'right' to pursue its own immigration policy and negotiate its own trade deals outside the EU, IT LEAVES FULLY 60% OF UK LAWS COORDINATED WITH EU LAWS ! Britain is STILL locked in partnership with the European Union — in a form of deep 'Associate Membership'.

...SO MUCH FOR THE 2016 EU REFERENDUM BEING A ONCE-FOR-ALL VOTE FOR A SOVEREIGN, SELF-GOVERNING DEMOCRATIC BRITAIN.

As was said by opposition parties at the time, the EU referendum is looking increasingly like a mere device used to settle an internal spat between the different wings of the Conservative party. Post-Brexit, it has become apparent that BOTH wings essentially support undemocratic transnational government.

And so post-Brexit, the process of negotiating wide-ranging so-called 'trade deals' with other countries and trading blocs HAS CONTINUED — for e.g. the recent signing of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP).

As has the process of agreeing an EVER-WIDENING, EVER-DEEPENING range of (UN) global 'sustainable development', (UN) global 'climate change', (UN) global migration and (UN) global 'pandemic preparedness' agreements, goals, strategies and policies. And establishing the UNDEMOCRATIC transnational institutions to administer them.

LIKE EU TREATIES, THESE INTERNATIONAL AGREEMENTS ARE ABOUT MUCH MORE THAN MERE TRADE AND COOPERATION. Although not always legally-binding under international law, they are nevertheless serious, formal, long-term, international commitments to abide by and IMPLEMENT the goals, strategies and policies set by undemocratic transnational organisations. And these goals, strategies and policies do not address only obscure technical economic and financial issues, but are designed to impact, manage and control nearly every area of the political, economic, social and personal life of ordinary citizens.

REGARDLESS OF THEIR NOMINAL NON-LEGALLY BINDING STATUS, IN REALITY, IN PRACTICE — JUST LIKE EU TREATIES — THESE INTERNATIONAL AGREEMENTS WILL DETERMINE MUCH OF UK GOVERNMENT POLICY AND ARE INTENDED TO UNDERMINE THE WILLINGNESS AND ABILITY OF FUTURE ELECTED UK GOVERNMENTS TO CHANGE UK LAWS IN AN INCREASING NUMBER OF AREAS.


SO — JUST LIKE EU TREATIES — THEY WILL MAKE VOTES AT UK GENERAL ELECTIONS INCREASINGLY MEANINGLESS.

Undemocratic Transnational Government and Political Correctness — Legislating For Corruption

Howlers such as believing society is advanced by encouraging the wholesale rejection of the values of conscience, not enforcing the law against serious offences, applying the law in a selective way, promoting the belief that human gender has no moral implications for human conduct and can be altered by mere choice, and — INCREDIBLY (but a proven fact with video evidence) — at their annual gatherings at Bohemian Grove, reviving an unambiguously evil ceremony of dark pre-Judaeo-Christian religion : conducting mock human sacrifice before a giant statue of an owl... ...and at the annual "Burning Man" event in Black Rock, Nevada, many of the elite from silicon valley and Hollywood conduct mock pagan human sacrifice, burning a giant effigy of the 'Wicker Man'...

Such blind, blithe 'reconciling' of good with evil — with fundamental moral and spiritual truths, principles, boundaries and realities, taken as mere abstract 'concepts in the head' to be atomised and then endlessly moulded until made acceptable to the will and whim of an immorally-superficial, emotionally-dishonest, narrow, 'nerdy', inhuman worldview — has (mis)lead our cultural leaders into the false belief that they have right and duty to :

  • constantly correct the adult electorate for 'wrong' thinking — 'wrong' as defined by themselves
  • criminalise and imprison citizens for 'hateful' speaking — 'hateful' as defined by themselves
  • abuse the education system, betray parental trust and usurp parental authority — teaching 4-year-olds to 'masturbate', teaching vulnerable young children that they can just choose their own gender, and requiring pupils to engage in homosexual role play.

SADLY, OUR CULTURAL LEADERS HAVE SERIOUSLY LOST THEIR WAY.
