OUR POLICIES

Common Sense On Immigration and Integration

Britain is a more interesting and vibrant place for its new arrivals from different racial and cultural backgrounds, but uncontrolled immigration and open-ended, unpopular cultural change is undemocratic, irresponsible politics.


Responsible government should also not allow extremism to flourish in any form or from any quarter, nor even a sectarian my-patch-your-patch multiculturalism that has the potential to descend into ghettoism and extremism at a later date.


To encourage the genuine integration and national unity that is so crucial to all our futures, a more proactive approach to integration needs to be taken — with schools' admissions and councils' housing policies used to encourage a more even spread of racial and cultural minorities throughout the country at large, rather than predominantly concentrated in a handful of already overcrowded big cities as at present.


Public cultural policy should also aim to preserve and inculcate all that is best about traditional British values — a commitment to democracy, fair play and Judaeo-Christian ethics, tolerance, love of freedom, moderation and hard-work. Unlike the doctrines of disaster peddled by some, these values have proven themselves to promote wellbeing and establish stable nations across the globe — THERE MUST THEREFORE BE NO RETREAT FROM THESE in misguided hope of peace with those fundamentally and implacably opposed to all we hold most dear. Instead, let us cordially invite all races and all cultures to play a full and active part in the moderate, multicultural Britain of the future.


As a nation, through commitment and compromise, together, we can make the vision of a peaceful, prosperous multicultural society a vibrant reality enriching all of our lives — and, in typical understated British fashion, do so without the designer hysterics or being race and culture-obsessed all the time.

A MODERATE, COMMON UNIFYING BRITISH CULTURE

A Cultural Fait Accompli

In recent years, a tiny minority of highly influential folk from inside the Westminster (or Strasburg) politico-media Bubble have decided that many of our most dearly-held British values are incompatible with the future they have decided is best for us all and have vigorously set about undermining such 'evils' at every turn. So whilst the media clique has busied itself broadcasting ubiquitous propaganda trying to separate us from a sizeable chunk of our instinctive and happy beliefs and desires, the political clique has been busy not merely passing laws designed to separate us from our inalienable rights (to a meaningful vote, free speech, a country etc.) but also imposing an 'on the ground' (ultimately the only place where it really counts) multi-cultural cultural fait accompli by allowing millions of people from totally different cultural backgrounds to permanently settle in Britain. Our political and media leaders have done this — as everything else EU — not merely without consulting the British people but knowing full well that if asked, a majority would not be in favour of such a change. Sadly, our leaders hold the great mass of British people—the very ones who elected them to office — to be unworthy of the right to determine the cultural direction of the very land of their birth, life and death.


So, faced with such a far-advanced fait accompli—with millions of cultural newcomers now settled in this country — what realistically can and should be done ?


A 'No Borders', 'No Limits', 'No Restrictions', 'Make No Demands', 'Anything Else Is Racist' Approach Is Undemocratic, Irresponsible, Extremist Politics

Sadly, the public cultural 'debate' in this country has for many years been dominated by those self-righteous social innovators that equate even the most moderate questioning of completely uncontrolled immigration or the mildest of concerns over cultural issues with brick-throwing racism. Such unfair and extreme invective sets a very poor example for the rest of society — encouraging minorities to adopt a moral 'cop out' culture of assuming that any personal conflict they experience with anyone from the majority culture is always simply due to racism or xenophobia (rather than for e.g. the natural social and moral conflict that is how we all learn from each other), whilst saddling the cultural majority with a miserable, cult-like, open-ended guilt-trip for just honestly being themselves.


This long-term extreme invective and the political attitudes that go with it, has also inevitably meant that public policy has failed utterly to deal with the real issues, and so has made no positive contribution to building the reasonable consensus and compromise policies that are the the best — maybe the only — way of creating the unity-with-diversity those engaging in such cartoon criticisms claim to believe in.


Those imposing massive and rapid cultural change upon us would have us throw up our hands and just 'go with the flow' — wherever that may lead. Yet given the democratically illegitimate basis for the policy, its lack of popular support to this day and its permanent and unprecedented nature — such a 'head in the sand' and 'hope for the best' approach is just not good enough. Those who damn as 'racist' everyone merely adopting a position on these delicate matters that respects the wishes and cultural concerns of the majority, set a very poor example for the rest of society and treat democracy and most of the law-abiding population in this — one of the most open and culturally tolerant nations on the planet (which is largely why so many cultural minorities wish to settle here) WITH UTTER CONTEMPT. For the majority, it seems, any meaningful sense of their own cultural identity is 'impermissible'.

Adopting such blatantly unjust double-standards is a grievous error. One that produces the very racism of which those making such unfair accusations are so fond of complaining.



Britain Is A Better, Broader More Vibrant and Interesting Place For Having Racial and Cultural Minorities

Although a multi-cultural society has rather been imposed upon us all, Britain today is certainly a more vibrant and interesting place for the introduction of its more recently acquired cultural groupings, and with the right policies in place, current cultural tensions can be made a thing of the past. The aim must be to steer a course between the reckless 'no-borders', 'no-limits' brigade on one side and the 'we are superior' strife-mongers on the other — necessarily making a few tough choices along the way. It is up to this nation's political and cultural moderates to do all that they reasonably can to ensure this happy and settled land continues its fair, democratic, tolerant, stable, peaceful and prosperous course, for the mutual benefit of all.


It's Time Government Stopped Trying To Legislate For Inevitable Human Foibles and Let People of All Races and Cultures Relax Sufficiently To Find Their Genuine Common Ground And Move Forward Together — As Themselves

It is high time government stopped playing religion and vilifying decent law-abiding citizens who struggle to accept those from a different racial and cultural background—after all, such commonplaces of human life are very widespread on all sides (even between different minorities themselves) and can never be completely overcome. It is time government let everyone relax a little over their almost inevitable racial or cultural emotional foibles, which after all are actually little different to the cultural 'them' and 'us' 'class war' that has been going-on in Britain for decades and that defines so many of the average Briton's attitudes towards themselves and fellow citizens to this present day.


Many, maybe most, issues surrounding inter-cultural and inter-racial tension are also more to do with general yobbishness (on both sides) and simply the display of general attitudes perceived as being unpleasant — fear of anything new, cockiness, being stand-offish, moral or religious superiority, being judgemental, etc — and that are perceived as similarly unpleasant when exhibited by anyone from any race or culture. Yes, such emotional wrinkles and foibles are less than perfect but it is no business of government to seek to reach inside every human heart and pluck-out every offending impulse. It is high time government stopped playing religion and allowed law-abiding citizens the room to be imperfect. With a more mellow approach all around, the different groups that make up the modern multicultural Britain of today will at last have been given the opportunity to relax sufficiently to enable them to explore and find sufficient areas of genuine common ground to move forward together in a real and relaxed way for the mutual benefit of all.


Modern-Day Politicians Owe It To Past, Present and Future Generations To Do All They Can To Ensure That Britain Remains A Free and Democratic Land

Given current and likely future demographic trends it is a simple numerical fact that present-day minority races and cultures may become a majority at some point in Britain's future. The government should be relaxed about that prospect. What it must never be relaxed about however, is the scenario where Britain is allowed to progressively just drift under the control of religious extremists who then set about turning the democratic and cultural clock back a thousand years to a sad, mad medieval world where everyone in society is required to submit to daft and inhuman laws and can never again live as free men and women, never again simply go about their own business unchallenged and never again live life as they believe and not as someone else tells them to. And where a Britain of the future ceases to be a beacon of freedom, democracy and justice in the world and instead itself becomes a political and cultural wasteland, a rogue state, ever at war with itself and democratic, freedom-loving nations across the globe. Many are quick to enlist the sacrifice of the millions of war dead to their cause, but by any reckoning they died to save Britain and its people — of whatever race or religion — from such a fate. Those that are 'relaxed' about such a prospect or are not prepared to acknowledge and confront its possibility, betray both themselves, and past, present and future generations of Britons (of all races and cultures) wanting to live as free people in a free, peaceful and prosperous land.

The public culture of Britain needs to be one capable of holding radically different cultures and world- and life-views together in a harmonious, genuine and stable unity. This is no small task. For such a prize to be achieved give and take will be required from all sides. Only then can we, together, model the moderate, free and fair society that is able to accommodate both the secular and the religious life and begin to woo the would-be extremists from the doctrines of disaster that have destroyed so many lives, cultures and countries across the world. By doing this too, we each can recommend our own particular religion to others in the truest way of all, not by violence, intimidation, angry rhetoric and extreme codes of dress, but by good deeds done from a pure heart.



Starting From Where We Are and Who We Are

Accommodating minority cultures should never mean, must never mean and does not need to mean turning the cultural and political clock back to a world of inferior animal welfare standards, impoverished freedom of speech, special legal favoured groups within society, quotas, differential sentencing, special helmet rules, impoverished freedom of choice for employers and landlords, the religionisation of education, the politicising of academia and education, the requirement that everyone accept values they don't believe in and the creation of a sectarian, divided Britain consisting of a patchwork of regional cultural ghettos and more than one legal system.


Rather, successfully accommodating minority cultures means incorporating them into the very fabric of British society. Accommodating minority cultures means integrating minority cultures, which means starting from where we are and who we are.


Contrary to the line peddled by much of the media, 'Britishness' is not at all hard to define—and is in fact little different to the identity values dominant in any modern, freedom-loving democratic western society. Settled core British values include :


NATIONAL SELF-DETERMINATION — a belief that we are a separate and identifiable 'we' politically and geographically in distinction from the rest of the world


NATIONAL UNITY — a belief that even though we may differ with one another across a whole range of fundamental issues, and have been at mild class-war with one another much of the time, we are in this thing together to the end. A non-sectarian approach to civic life.


OPEN TO THE WORLD — although separate we are genuinely fascinated by the differences of race and culture and interested to see and learn from what others make of life. In business, we have always quite naturally looked to foster partnerships and trade with the wider world


DEMOCRACY — although many don't vote at elections, we instinctively acknowledge parliament as the lode star of civic life and that which enshrines the fundamental dignity and equality of all British citizens


JUDAEO-CHRISTIAN ETHICS — in spite of becoming an increasingly atheistic society, in their atheism most British people still implicitly acknowledge the trueness-to-life of the core Judaeo-Christian values and even the existence of a mono-theistic God of some sort, with 46% even describing themselves as Christian in the 2021 census.


FAIRNESS AND EQUALITY — something of a British distinctive, as politicians have found to their cost, Britons are profoundly and acutely attuned to what is fair and what is not.


FREEDOM IN BUSINESS — Chided by others for being a 'nation of shop-keepers', Brits like to do their own thing in business, so much so no fewer than 8 million Britons are currently self-employed (even though many would be better-off working for someone else). Even with something of a flirtation with the far left at times, the vast majority of Britons working as employees have also always instinctively understood the importance of a healthy economy to wider society and national life. In the workplace the tradition has always been a pretty hands-off (by the government), and a 'just getting on with the job', 'secular' approach to business and working life.


INDIVIDUALISM — although able to co-operate with others, millions of Britons are at their happiest just pottering about doing their own thing, busy trying to make their mark in life or just happily, gloriously 'odd'.


PRIVACY — we reserve the right to have dominion over ourselves and our boundaries and do not take kindly to those who feel they have some self-appointed right to involve themselves in our affairs.


FREEDOM OF SPEECH — we have never needed to consciously even think about this one before, since we are such a nation of instinctive 'spout-offs' about anything and everything that the thought of living without that right is simply absurd.


FREEDOM OF CONSCIENCE—whether a particular Briton's own conscience is Christian, Middle-class or an instinctive 'calling a spade a spade' way of thinking and seeing, we all are very protective of our right to live as we believe, and not as someone else thinks we ought to.


FREEDOM OF RELIGION — the right to practise a religion of choice in an open way is fundamental to a free and open society and has been established in Britain for centuries.


LIVE AND LET LIVE — whilst fiercely holding to our own way of doing things and reserving the right to pursue and live life on our own terms, we are quite naturally and easily able to extend the same privilege to others, so long as their freedom doesn't curtail mine and they don't expect me to agree with them.


ANIMAL WELFARE — something of a nation of animal softies, millions of Britons think of their pets as genuine family members and any cruelty to animals is instinctively understood to be abhorrent.


The traditional British civic values outlined above have proven themselves to be a sure basis for a stable and prosperous society for centuries. Although the world is changing, neither the world nor the people in it have changed so much that all that has gone before has suddenly become irrelevant.

Traditional British civic values are also the values still widely accepted amongst the vast majority of the British population today — and to which other nations across the world aspire — and it is these same values that provide the best basis for the successful, peaceful, prosperous multi-cultural Britain of the future just as they have done for the largely mono-cultural Britain of the past.


Modern-Day Multicultural Britain Has The Best Chance of Success By Continuing To Require and Inculcate In Its Citizens of All Races and Cultures The Civic Values That Have Proven To Be The Best Basis For a Settled, Free and Prosperous Society For Hundreds of Years

The approach of government must therefore be to test the claims and practices of all minority cultural groups within society against these proven state-building values in precisely the same way they are applied to everyone else, and expect and require all minority groups and individuals to conform to those values in exactly the same way that everyone else within society is required to conform to them — this is equality, anything else isn't.

NATIONAL SOLIDARITY

Unfortunately, the time has probably come to explicitly acknowledge that there exists a genuine problem of integration of some Muslims into western society. This is not surprising, as Islam, for its adherents, is a religion not merely about inner beliefs and moral codes, but about the structural organisation of society itself.

Many Islamic groups across the world make no secret of the fact that they simply want to take over and reduce the free and democratic societies of the West to their preferred vision of a medieval madhouse — just as they have already done in umpteen countries across the globe. So what are we to do — just sit idly-by and allow modern-day Nazis in religious garb, to try and turn this free and settled land into another cultural and political wasteland ? How weak and pathetic would that be ? And what a betrayal of previous, current and future generations — of all religious persuasions and of none. Extreme Islam's view of civic life and culture are little different to Nazism with religious trappings and should be treated accordingly.

All right-minded folk therefore have a responsibility to do all that they can to prevent any strain of extreme Islam taking hold in Britain. And that means no longer defending the indefensible in order to play superficial moral-one-upmanship games. It means no longer remaining ambivalent on the subject in order to appear bogusly 'broad-minded and liberal'. And it means not succumbing to the tendency to demonise, oppose or undermine those taking the necessary, difficult steps in order to confront the problem in a reasonable, effective way. We all want to see a peaceful and prosperous Britain endure into the future, so let us get on NOW with the business of building the surer foundation to establish precisely that.

A PROVEN STATE-BUILDING VALUE IS NATIONAL SOLIDARITY.

IT MUST ALSO MEAN SAYING 'NO' TO SECTARIANISM.

SAYING 'NO' TO SECTARIANISM

There Is Such A Thing As Moderate 'Shared Civic Values' Multiculturalism and A Sectarian 'My Patch-Your Patch' Multiculturalism — the former is the prize for which government should seek, the latter is a likely precursor to deep division and possible highway to extremism.


If we can all 'get real' for a moment (and in order to do that we will need to dismiss from our minds practically every public utterance by politician, media pundit and community leader on the subject for the last 20 years !) and state the obvious :

Community relations will only be GENUINELY improved when people have GENUINE confidence that the overwhelming majority of Britain's minorities are 100% committed to democracy and GENUINELY willing and able to live alongside us without supporting terrorism, plotting takeover or agitating for revolt or civic separation.


This requires tough action on extremism, but also tough action on the tendency of some minority groups to want to live in a divisive, 'taking ground' sectarian manner.

Britain must never allow itself to become a tinderbox of massive, segregated overtly hostile groupings, so proactive steps MUST be taken NOW to improve integration across the country. Allowing massive sectarian 'my-patch-your-patch' cultural ghettos to just grow and grow, hoping that peace and harmony will magically always prevail, is tantamount to a reckless 'head in the sand' betrayal of both majority and minority.

SAYING 'NO' TO SECTARIANISM MEANS SAYING 'NO' TO MINORITY CULTURES THAT SUPPORT TERRORISM AND ARE FUNDAMENTALLY INCOMPATIBLE WITH THE VALUES OF FREE, DEMOCRATIC WESTERN SOCIETY.

ONLY MODERATE MINORITY CULTURES ARE COMPATIBLE WITH THE VALUES OF A FREE DEMOCRATIC WESTERN SOCIETY, SO ONLY MODERATES SHOULD BE PERMITTED TO REMAIN. Others should be returned to the Middle East and other countries that believe and want to live as they do.

THIS POLICY WILL ONLY APPLY TO THOSE ACTIVELY ENGAGED IN, OR OVERTLY SUPPORTING, TERRORISM OR TERRORIST ORGANISATIONS EITHER IN WRITING, PRONOUNCEMENTS OR FINANCIALLY.

In this regard, similar to changes put into effect several decades ago, we favour a redrawing of the map of the entire Middle East, so that the current nation states are replaced with same-faith zones and regions of common ethnicity, so that whatever the form of religion preferred by an individual and whatever their ethnicity, they will always be able to find a modern, well-equipped, prosperous zone within the Middle East in which to live and make a settled life according to their beliefs.

SAYING 'NO' TO SECTARIANISM MEANS A MORE EVEN DISTRIBUTION OF RACIAL AND CULTURAL MINORITIES.

Genuine integration and a more even distribution of racial and cultural minorities across the country therefore needs to be encouraged and could be achieved through compulsory schools' admissions policies and housing occupancy criteria, and incentivising a voluntary home move out of big cities through financial relocation packages. The genuine integration of moderates IS possible and responsible government must now show a little mettle, and — in consultation with minority communities themselves — take the proactive moderate measures necessary to bring it about.

Voluntary Relocation Out of Big City Cultural Ghettos : With the best will in the world — from both sides — to be a member of a racial or cultural minority is almost inevitably to suffer the stress of feeling at least a little insecure and 'put upon' by the cultural majority in the local area. Any measure encouraging a move to an area with significantly smaller minority communities will therefore:

  • be voluntary
  • allow for minority communities (outside the big cities) to establish and grow to a significant size
  • offer financial incentives to encourage and assist those looking to make the move.

It is conceded that this is a difficult policy to 'get right', and a policy that has the potential to get very ugly, very quickly. It will certainly be seized upon with glee by the 'usual suspects' to accuse of the usual assortment of -ists, -isms and -phobias. But then we have perhaps listened to the (false) accusers for far too long. Sticking our heads in the sand, not talking about it, or talking about it in unrealistic (even dishonest) terms and just hoping for the best, has been tried and tried and tried by the established parties. And has unambiguously failed to establish genuine integration instead producing an ongoing friction and an unhealthy divisive sectarianism. The present state of affairs is therefore itself a potentially unstable one. So let us all now unite around a set of new, moderate (if difficult) policies that at least hold out the significant possibility and prospect of establishing the truly integrated multicultural Britian that in the long run is in everybody's best interests.

SAYING 'NO' TO SECTARIANISM MEANS SAYING 'NO' TO CONTINUED MOSQUE-BUILDING

It is a simple fact that – for decades – many of Britain's mosques have been home to many international terrorists and – for decades – have been preaching and distributing hardline, anti-Western (Saudi) literature.


It is also a fact of common practical experience that large mosques tend to encourage a 'taking ground' mindset in those attending them, and that this often spills over into an open hostility towards any (apparent) non-Muslim physically approaching anywhere near the mosque — often driving non-Muslims out of the area.


Whilst these practices and attitudes remain widespread, permitting further significant expansion in the number or size of mosques in Britain is NOT to encourage the harmonious multiculturalism that is in everyone's best interests, but is to DEEPEN cultural divides and FURTHER ENCOURAGE A DESTRUCTIVE SECTARIANISM. No responsible government can just blindly continue with policies that allow that to happen — just hoping that things will somehow (magically) right themselves in the end.


A 20-Year Moratorium On Building New Mosques And Expanding Existing Mosques

We will therefore introduce a moratorium on both building new mosques and the significant expansion of existing mosques — the moratorium to remain in place until Britain's Muslim community has established a consistent, long-term track record of :

(a) not supporting terrorism or providing succour for individual terrorists

(b) not distributing, defending or preaching a hardline anti-Western version of Islam, and

(c) showing itself capable of no longer using its occupation of local real estate to lord it over the local population.


It is anticipated that it will take a minimum of 20 years to establish such a consistent, GENUINE, long-term record of peaceable co-existence.

However, consistent with the Western tradition of, and this party's firm belief in, the freedom of religion, no attempt will be made to restrict the number of those converting to PEACEABLE, MODERATE Islam. Mosques needing to increase capacity in order to meet an increase in local demand will therefore be permitted to rent or lease non-religious buildings in their local area — just as many Christian churches have been doing for many years.

SAYING 'NO' TO SECTARIANISM MEANS SAYING 'NO' TO SEPARATE LEGAL SYSTEMS.

Already there are those calling for the right to live under a separate legal system based on Muslim Shariah law. A more divisive, sectarian move is hard to imagine and should not be permitted. As common citizens of a common land all UK citizens must be subject to UK law. However, if, once UK law has taken its course, any culture or group of people wish to impose additional sanctions not in contradiction to established UK law on a person freely consenting to submit to such additional measures, then this will be permitted.


In this regard, many women within the Muslim community are very unhappy with the refusal of many Shariah councils to agree to a religious divorce when the state has already agreed to a civil divorce. The fundamental rights of ALL citizens of the UK — including those of Muslim women — come under the protection of the UK state and we will not tolerate the use of Shariah rulings from any source (Shariah councils, local Imams or mosques) to perpetuate an extreme, subjugating, women-as-chattel view of family life.


Any Shariah court persisting in making such rulings in contradiction to this settled UK national policy will be liable to be closed down and those making the rulings deported. It is therefore beholden on those institutions and individuals intending to make shariah rulings to ensure that those rulings are consistent with the law of this modern, fair, free and democratic land.

SAYING 'NO' TO SECTARIANISM MEANS SAYING 'NO' TO SEPARATE FINANCIAL SYSTEMS.

Many high street banks today offer Islamic financial products and since 2014 the UK government itself has offered an Islamic bond. Whilst such products are superficially similar to financial products offering investors the opportunity to invest ethically, it must be remembered that these are Shariah products and their very existence calls moderate, integrated Muslims to a more separated, Shariah-conforming life.


This, again, is the segregationist view of civic life put into effect by extreme Islamic activists and this tendency to separate and segregate must be resisted. In Western civilisation, to be a Muslim must be made synonymous with being a moderate, integrated Muslim. We will therefore withdraw the Islamic government bond and require all banks to discontinue these products.

[In this regard, over 90% of Muslims are happy to invest in non-Shariah products anyway, so for moderate Muslims they are largely unnecessary.]

SAYING 'NO' TO SECTARIANISM MEANS SAYING 'NO' TO SEPARATE FAITH-BASED SCHOOLS.

Whilst the state must never seek to usurp the right of parents to raise their children the way they wish, part of school's essential and legitimate role is to prepare children for the wider world in which they will have to live the rest of their adult lives, beyond their own families, and cloistered, faith-based schooling can never do that adequately. Such a segregated approach throughout a child's entire formative years is also likely to encourage an unhealthy 'them and us' mindset.


A National School Dress-Code — Integration and Compromise Required

PUPILS

A fundamental right to freedom of religion does not include the right to express that religious belief in full wherever and whenever you like. This is true of adults and even more so for children. Pupils constantly declaring their separateness from everyone else through extreme dress codes can only ever be divisive — inhibiting a child's ability and willingness to integrate with other classmates and even to learn — and suffuse the classroom with an unwelcome and inappropriate air of religiosity that is fundamentally at odds with longstanding western tradition.


However, the cultural majority should be willing to make some reasonable concessions to help build genuine unity with those from minority communities who are willing to integrate with the rest of society, but the compromises should only go so far and the other side expected and required to reciprocate and meet the cultural majority halfway.


A compromise policy on uniforms — designed to continue the longstanding western tradition of requiring a standard school uniform of all pupils whilst accommodating the reasonable expectations of moderate Muslims, Sikhs, Jews and Rastafarians, as well as allowing pupils from the majority culture the equal uniform-wearing rights currently denied them — could be as follows :

- All pupils must wear a smart, traditional western-style school uniform

- All pupils will be allowed to opt to wear trousers in school colours

- All pupils will be allowed to wear a cap, skull cap, scarf or turban in school colours

- All pupils will be allowed to wear their hair as long as they like

- All pupils will be allowed to wear a standard school tracksuit for PE



TEACHERS

The fine western tradition of fact-based learning, where subjects are taught from a rigorously rational, non-religious perspective, should be reinforced, not undermined by the appearance and demeanour of the teacher. Being a teacher is also, parent-like, all about putting the needs of pupils above your own and doing whatever you can to help children learn, not about using the classroom to make explicit on-going personal religious statements through a particular style of dress. For many, probably for most pupils, extreme religious dress inevitably inhibits the formation of a natural, open and respectful relationship with the teacher — which is to damage many pupils ability to learn, and a responsible government must not allow that to happen.


Teachers should therefore be subject to the same dress code as pupils — the only items of religious dress permitted being skull caps, scarfs and turbans. However, to indicate the superior status of the teacher in relation to the pupils, these items could be in non-school colours.


The best schools have always understood how something as basic as the school dress code can enhance rather than undermine the school ethos and culture — an understanding also shared by activist groups who in recent years have sought to use the humble school uniform as a vehicle to suffuse British schools with an inappropriate and unwelcome air of (over-dressed) religiosity.


Therefore, given its importance and to ensure conformity across the country, as well as to shield individual schools and headmasters from local pressure to adopt a different code, we will make the school dress code a matter of national policy.



No College Cultural Ghettos

Possibly the greatest benefit both to individual student and society of going to college is the opportunity it affords for broadening perspectives about self, the nature of knowledge and of life. Colleges dominated by race or culture-centric subjects or by students from a single cultural background not only are unable to offer this breadth of experience to their students but curricula and course materials can also succumb to a tendency to teach a selective, narrowly-focused worldview which can leave students vulnerable to subsequent ideological hijack by extremists.


To counter this destructive, sectarian tendency and as a continuation of similar proposals for schools, all colleges will be required to limit their provision of race or culture-centric courses to a maximum of 20% of the total no. of courses offered and to limit the maximum proportion of students from racial and cultural minorities to a maximum of 35%. Colleges specialising in minority studies will still be able to flourish and provide students with powerful networking opportunities, but will need to do so within a broader, healthier, intellectual social political and religious context.

SAYING 'NO' TO SECTARIANISM MEANS REQUIRING GENUINE (NOT ARTIFICIAL) INTEGRATION OF ALL CITIZENS.

Whilst what a person does in their own time or in their own home is their own affair, anything done in the public realm of workplace, street or classroom necessarily also affects others. IN THESE AREAS THE RIGHT OF MINORITY CULTURES MUST THEREFORE BE SET ALONGSIDE THE RIGHTS OF THE CULTURAL MAJORITY.

We will therefore require ALL citizens to integrate in a GENUINE way with moderate, mainstream British society:


Genuine integration with moderate, freedom-loving, democratic British society, means:

SUPPORTING FREEDOM OF RELIGION

  • Being willing to accept the right of others to criticise any and every aspect of their religion and their beliefs from any perspective and every perspective and in the strongest possible terms. It also means :
  • Not pronouncing death threats or calling for violence or the intimidation of detractors and dissenters.
  • Not persecuting those (including family members) abandoning their religion and changing to another faith or no faith at all. All such offences will be dealt with in identical manner to any other form of threat, abuse or persecution of one citizen by another. No allowance will be made for any religious or familial motivation for the offences.

CO-OPERATING WITH MODERATE CIVIC INTEGRATION MEASURES

  • Being willing to co-operate with moderate policies designed to encourage a more even distribution of cultural minorities throughout the country (out of big city ghettos), through housing and schools admissions policies.


NOT PROMOTING OR PRACTISING EXTREME CULTURAL PRACTICES

  • Neither practising nor promoting 'female circumcision' ( a.k.a. 'Female Genital Mutilation' or FGM ), polygamy or forced marriages — which will all be offences under UK law. with a first offence resulting in a 6-month Community Service Order, a second offence will mean a custodial sentence, and a third offence will mean summary deportation. Polygamous and forced marriages will not be recognised,
  • Being willing to accept pre-stunned halal food (on animal welfare grounds).
  • Being willing to accept that mosques are prohibited from broadcasting any form of audible public call to prayer — such a practise is far too intrusive and alien to settled, religiously-reserved British culture. Permitting such a practise can only serve to deepen existing sectarian divisions within society.

NOT DEMANDING THE RIGHT TO LIVE IN A SEPARATE SECTARIAN MANNER

  • Not issuing or supporting requests for a separate legal system, separate financial system or separate faith-based schooling.
  • Not wearing the extreme face-veiling burqa or niqab in public — as these garments' inherent declaration of total separateness is just too divisive for most people to accept, and this is likely to always remain the case. All other forms of dress will be permitted — including the abaya (a nun-like overcloak) and the hijab (a scarf-like covering for the top of the head and shoulders).
  • Being willing to send children to the ordinary state-funded, privately-run comprehensive schools along with the rest of the country and abide by the compromise national school dress code.

REGISTERING ALL RELIGIOUS MARRIAGES WITH THE UK CIVIL AUTHORITIES

  • This will ensure that ALL marriage ceremonies conducted within the UK will be governed by UK law — enabling women from minority backgrounds to access UK civil courts and receive DWP benefits in the event of divorce or separation.
  • For those officiating at an unregistered marriage ceremony, a first offence will result in a 6-month Community Service Order. A second offence will mean a custodial sentence, and a third offence will mean summary deportation.

However, artificial integration will NOT be required:

SAYING 'NO' TO SECTARIANISM MEANS SAYING 'NO' TO LANGUAGE DIVIDES.

All Official Government and Council Documents To Only Be Made Available In English

There are few things in the realm of human relations more unifying than the ability to literally speak the same language. Therefore, whilst the formal requirement to learn English will be abolished, at least a rudimentary knowledge of the language will be needed to access government websites and services which in England will only be available in English (or Scots or Welsh). This will also save government departments and councils the expense of needing to produce umpteen different language versions of their publications and employ specialist translators just to process the completed forms.


Bi-Lingual and Non-English Street and Business Signs Banned

Some councils in areas of the country with a high proportion of non-English speakers within the local community have erected bi-lingual street-signs and many shops in these areas have their signage primarily in a non-English language. However, streets, highways and street signs do not 'belong' to those who just happen to be living or working along their route, they are part of the common public fabric of the country as a whole and should be named accordingly.


So whilst a move to bi-lingual signage is understandable and may offer newly-arrived members within minority communities the additional comfort of a sense of familiarity, it offers minimal assistance in direction-finding (certainly for local residents, who will already know their way around the area and all the local shops) and, much more importantly, inevitably not merely sustains, but helps create, the unhealthy 'my patch-your patch' sectarian attitudes that in the long-run do nobody any favours.

IMMIGRATION and ASYLUM

Britain is already one of the most densely populated countries in Europe and our existing health, schooling and transport infrastructure is already overstretched to breaking-point. Every major new housing development risks bringing local gridlock on the roads and most city shopping centres are already almost unbearably crowded on most Saturdays and at Christmas. What sense does it make to allow the total population to just continue to rise ? The time has come to acknowledge that further significant increases in population — from any source, even domestic — will simply reduce the quality of life of UK citizens rather than enhance it.


Whilst much is made in the media and by politicians of the benefits to the economy of immigration, this fails to acknowledge both that most benefits go to businesses (who get cheap labour) not the wider population — many of whom suffer restricted job opportunities due to vacancies being taken by immigrants, reduced wages, difficulty in finding housing or obtaining health or convenient local schooling for their children. All those confidently espousing that people have no right to complain about such basic, essential necessities of life, reveal that it is they themselves who are the unreasonable extremist...

There are also more important things in politics than the economy — and one of them is general quality of life. So whilst in the short- to medium-term there will probably be a need for some vacancies (both skilled and unskilled) to be met through immigration, the long-term aim should be to structurally alter education and training policy so that the needs of the UK economy can be met entirely from within.


For many people, immigration is not primarily a racial or cultural, but a straightforward overcrowding, quality of life issue. However, because such a large proportion of those immigrating are from minority races or cultures this inevitably further increases the rate of cultural change within the UK. With several parts of the country already experiencing a certain degree of inter-racial and inter-cultural tension, exacerbating that by allowing mass immigration to continue is irresponsible — and undemocratic — politics. On a broader level too, and taking a global view of things, many of those emigrating from less developed countries to Britain — whilst benefiting us by helping to meet our own particular skill shortages — would actually be of considerably greater benefit to their own countries, many of which are so short of just the kind of proactive, capable skilled individuals that those emigrating tend to be that they can barely function let alone prosper (Lithuania for e.g. has lost nearly 25% of its population by emigration in the last few years and now even has a popular anti-emigration political party!).


So whilst the suggested immigration policies below will doubtless attract howls of 'racism' from certain quarters, the very global peace and prosperity (not to mention cultural harmony) that those making the accusations usually claim to believe in, is considerably more likely to be achieved (rather than merely talked about or used as an excuse to condemn everyone) through moderate policies on cultural integration and immigration, rather than through an extreme 'no restrictions' 'no borders' approach which fails utterly to respect the feelings and wishes of the overwhelming majority.

GIVEN ITS PROFOUND SIGNIFICANCE TO ALL OUR FUTURES, PUBLIC POLICY EVEN ON THIS MOST DELICATE OF ISSUES SHOULD NOT, MUST NOT, BE ABOUT PLAYING SILLY 'HOLIER THAN THOU' MORAL ONEUPMANSHIP WORD GAMES — WITH POLITICIANS COMPETING TO SHOW THEMSELVES THE MOST MINDLESSLY 'PRO-IMMIGRATION' (QUITE REGARDLESS OF THE BROADER ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL CONSEQUENCES), AND 'THE MOST ACCEPTING' OF EVERY JOT AND TITTLE OF MINORITY CULTURE (NO MATTER HOW EXTREME). RATHER, PUBLIC POLICY MUST BE ABOUT PUTTING IN PLACE A SOLID, DURABLE FOUNDATION THAT WORKS WITH THE GRAIN OF THE FALLIBLE-BUT-MODERATE HUMAN NATURE OF THE MODERATE MAJORITY — NOT GRATUITOUSLY DEMANDING FROM THEM MORE THAN THEY ARE WILLING, ABLE OR SHOULD EVER BE ASKED TO GIVE.

IMMIGRATION

Zero Net Immigration

Primarily because the UK is full, but also because of the inevitable tensions that a sense of the majority culture's values and traditions being rapidly overwhelmed by uncontrolled massive immigration, all reasonable steps will be taken in order to reduce net immigration to zero by balancing the numbers of those immigrating to those emigrating. Refusing to set a limit on the level of immigration is undemocratic, irresponsible politics.

Newly-Arriving Illegal Immigrants Automatically Deported

Upon arrival in the UK, all illegal immigrants will have their application for UK citizenship recorded and then be automatically deported — to await their application being selected by the random-selection process. It is envisaged that a turn-around time of less than 1 week will be achievable — giving time for checks to be made regarding their application and recuperation for any arduous journey to their country of origin. Those making duplicate applications for citizenship or repeat unfounded asylum claims will have their applications removed from possible random-selection for 2 years. Also, anyone actively assisting illegal immigrants to either enter or remain in the country will themselves be deported.

All Immigrants Who Illegally Entered The UK In The Last 5 Years Automatically Deported

The illegality of those flouting the UK's immigration laws should not, must not, be rewarded. It is not unreasonable to expect and demand that our basic immigration laws be respected. Let those genuinely fleeing persecution in their home nation make a genuine asylum claim. Let those seeking to settle here for economic advantage make an immigration claim through the proper procedure. And let those unable to emigrant to Britain legally, and who come from hopelessly messed-up countries with tyrannical politicians and horrible cultures, use their love of goodness, freedom and economic opportunity in the West, use their strength, use their determination and use their entrepreneurial pro-active abilities, to fight to improve the lot of both themselves and their compatriots from within their own nation. For the good of all.

The Religious and Political Practices Of All Those Making Immigration Claims Assessed For Compatibility With Western Values

Whilst, in an ideal world, it would not be necessary to require potential immigrants to undergo such an assessment, the reality of a growing sectarianism in countries right across the western world MUST be faced and confronted NOT recklessly ignored, blithely euphemised away, pandered to, celebrated or actively promoted. For the good of all.

Any Immigrant Serving A Prison Sentence For A Serious Criminal Offence Within 3 Years Of Arrival To Be Deported Upon Their Release

— To encourage certain unruly elements amongst immigrants to be on their best behaviour and to start as they mean to go on.


All Eligible Immigration Claims Decided By A Combination of A Points-Based System And By Random Draw

Using an entirely points-based approach to determine who may settle here and who may not, is to decide entirely from the point of view of our own economic advantage. In practise this is to 'cream off' other nations most able people and declare them 'worthy' of entry to the UK. Anyone else is out of luck.


Whilst some critical skill shortages will probably need to be met in this manner (at least in the short to medium term until domestic training and incentivisation issues for some careers have been resolved), allowing others to settle here 'simply because they really want to come', is surely also a principle that a broad-minded, not-all-about-ourselves approach to immigration should embody.


Consequently, we will adopt a 50/50 approach to immigration such that 50% of immigration claims will be decided by a point-based approach and 50% decided in an impartial manner by random draw from amongst all those who (are not serious criminals and) wish to settle in Britain.


Strict Mandatory Sentences For All Those Involved In People-Trafficking

All those aiding and abetting people traffickers should receive a mandatory 5-year prison term. The ring-leaders should receive a mandatory 10-year term.


Mandatory Sentences for Visa-Overstayers

People deliberately flouting the restrictions on their visas should be pursued, prosecuted, detained for 3 months, then deported and denied any form of visa or the right to return for 5 years. Repeat illegal immigrants will be deterred by a 1 year sentence for a second offence and a 2-year sentence for a third and any subsequent offences. These proposals will only come into effect after an initial 12-month period during which word of the upcoming changes will be disseminated as widely as possible amongst the groups and countries most likely to be affected by them.


Mandatory Sentences For Those Aiding and Abetting Visa-Overstayers and Illegal Immigrants

There is currently a mini-industry in this land of fake passport issuers and gang-master employers enabling those wishing to live and work here illegally. If the UK is to have meaningful control over the number of people living here, then this system must be broken.

A mandatory sentence for a 1st offence of 6-months and a £5,000 fine will deter those seeking to circumvent the system. Upon a second offence of harbouring an illegal immigrant the offender will themselves be deported. Punitive fining, possible withdrawal of trading rights and a civil detention tariff of 3 months evenings and weekends should be the norm for employers who knowingly employ illegal immigrants.

Rewards Paid To Anyone 'Shopping' An Illegal Immigrant

The illegal immigration industry could be further undermined by offering substantial rewards to all those able to provide information leading to the identification of someone staying in the country illegally.


UK Embassies Abroad To Receive Applications For Full UK Citizenship

All UK embassies (or embassy-run specialist immigration centres) should be able to receive applications for full UK citizenship — and these applications receive exactly the same weight as applications made from within the UK. The aim of such a policy (which confers no advantage for immigrants making it to UK soil) is to greatly reduce the human misery of illegal immigration and profiteering by people-traffickers.

IT IS PRECISELY THIS TOUGH APPROACH THAT KEEPS VULNERABLE, DESPERATE PEOPLE OUT OF THE CLUTCHES OF THE PEOPLE-TRAFFICKERS, OUT OF FLIMSY BOATS ON THE HIGH SEAS, AND PREVENTS ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS — AND THEIR CHILDREN — BEING TRAGICALLY WASHED-UP ON OUR BEACHES. A SOFT. 'LIBERAL' GET-HERE-ANY-WAY-YOU-CAN-AND-WE-WILL-LET-YOU-STAY APPROACH, DOES PRECISELY THE OPPOSITE.

ASYLUM

On asylum, the vast majority of 'asylum seekers' are in reality economic migrants seeking to enter and permanently settle in the UK illegally — without being subject to the restrictions of our immigration policy. An entire industry of advisory centres, Courts, appeals, Legal Aid, sham marriages, sham colleges, passport forgers and all the rest has grown-up as a direct result of existing policy in this area.


Withdrawal From European and UN Human Rights Acts

The whole shambolic expensive and unjust mess needs root and branch reform — which will only be possible if the UK withdraws from the EU, from the European Convention on Human Rights, the 1951 UN Convention on Refugees and repeals the Human Rights Act. The aim is for Britian to continue taking ITS FAIR SHARE (only) of refugees and genuine asylum seekers — the way it always has done — but be able to draft its own legislation to define refugee and asylum status.


The UK To Continue To Take Its Fair Share of Genuine Asylum Seekers — The Way Britain Always Has.

The left, the media and the globalists have spent decades telling the British people that they are a bunch of racist, xenophobic, scurrilous evil persons...but that makes no sense at all ... if Britain truly was THAT appallingly hostile towards migrants (legal or otherwise), then the migrants themselves wouldn't continue to risk life and limb to come here would they...?

And since, Britain is genuinely overcrowded, in fact, one of the most densely populated countries in Europe (we are only "little Britain" after all...), then Britain's FAIR (not civic-cohesion-undermining, quality-of-life-reducing) shouldering of the humanitarian responsibility to accept those in genuine need of asylum and sanctuary, should be, must be, set accordingly. No country can accept everyone that wants to come. Responsible, love-of-self-as-well-as-love-of-others charity, has always consisted in doing what you reasonably can to help NOT giving to others to the point of damaging your self or your loved ones...

Britain should therefore continue to help those suffering genuine persecution and working in consultation with UNHCR should, as now, accept its fair share of genuine asylum seekers — who will be the very ones to benefit most from a tougher line on mass merely-

economic migration.

In addition, this policy will be backed-up with a generous, proactive approach to offering help to genuine refugees abroad. As part of this commitment, we will ensure Britain has an official presence at all recognised refugee camps across the globe to deliver aid and process applications for asylum.

BORDERS

UK Border Agency Abolished and Amalgamated With The Regular Police Force

Whilst sharing the widespread public concern over the current weak border controls, the creation of another arm of semi-police authority (with limited powers of arrest) acting outside the familiar, regular police force, is confusing to many people and unnecessary. Many cases require the attendance of the police at the scene anyway and much discussion about co-ordinating different bodies can be removed by making the police solely responsible for all law and order.


The recent Labour government admitted it had little idea who is in the country (their no-borders policy put into effect) and border security was divided between seven different bodies reporting to three different cabinet ministers. The lines of accountability should be radically simplified to ensure clarity and to ensure the UK can effectively maintain control over its own borders.


Strict Photo and Fingerprint Visa System Introduced

Since so many enter the country on valid short-term visas and then overstay, a new electronic borders system that tracks visitors entering or leaving the UK should be implemented.


24-hour Surveillance At Ports, Airports, Train and Bus Stations

In this era of cheap hi-tech security cameras, 24-hour surveillance of both official and popular points of unofficial entry is eminently doable and affordable. Full embarkation controls should be restored to check everyone entering and leaving Britain.
