EVEN AFTER THE BREXIT VOTE, AND BREXIT ITSELF, IT WOULD BE NAIVE TO BELIEVE THAT THE POLITICAL, MEDIA AND BIG BUSINESS CLIQUE HAVE 'JUST GIVEN UP' ON THEIR DECADES-LONG, ALMOST-COMPLETED PLAN TO ESTABLISH UNDEMOCRATIC TRANSNATIONAL LAWMAKING IN BRITAIN. LIFE'S 'MOVERS AND SHAKERS' NEVER JUST GIVE UP.

THE BREXIT DEAL

As things stand, the misnamed UK-EU 'Trade and Cooperation' Agreement (the Brexit Deal) commits Britain to:

'a level playing field' (i.e. a commitment to maintain the same laws as the EU) right across the economy — in the areas of standards in goods and labour (i.e. employment) law
'a level playing field' (i.e. a commitment to maintain the same laws as the EU) in the key areas of possible state intervention in our own economy — in relation to policy on state subsidies and state-owned enterprises
'a level playing field' (i.e. a commitment to maintain the same laws as the EU) in the key culture-defining area of social policy
'a level playing field' (i.e. a commitment to maintain the same laws as the EU) in all the intrusive, wide-ranging and increasing areas of (UN) global policymaking in relation to the environment, 'sustainable development' and 'climate change'
significant coordination in the hugely politically and fiscally-significant areas of social security and taxation
wide-ranging coordination in lawmaking in relation to most areas of civil and criminal law
and approximate regulatory equivalence in the UK's key economic sector of financial services
and the fishing and energy sectors are linked together and will be the subject of endless future negotiation.

BRITAIN IS EFFECTIVELY PARALLEL-PARKED ALONGSIDE THE EUROPEAN UNION — IN A FORM OF DEEP 'ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP'.

THE EUROPEAN UNION IS — AND ALWAYS WAS — INTENDED TO BE THE MODEL AND TEST CASE FOR SIMILAR UNDEMOCRATIC GLOBAL TRANSNATIONAL LAWMAKING INSTITUTIONS.

It was Jean Monnet, architect and first Chairman of the European Coal and Steel Community (the fledgling EU), who said :

... and freedom of conscience, freedom of speech, and a truly self-governing Britain, a fading distant memory.

This new 'going global' tactic, is why IMMEDIATELY AFTER parliament finally accepted the result of the Brexit vote, the (pro-global) mainstream media began a 'Global This', 'Global That', 'Global Everything' campaign. A relentless campaign (similar to the 40-year pro-EU propaganda war waged against the British people) that will probably continue indefinitely — systematically shifting to different policy areas as they become the next sector to be (at least partially) 'managed globally'.

And knowing that most of the public do not want to be governed by remote, inflexible, unaccountable global institutions any more than they wish to be governed by remote, inflexible, unaccountable EU institutions, a 'reason' had to be found to justify the intended clipping of national self-determination and meaningful democracy.

The reason had to be one capable of touching every area of political, economic and personal life..

... had to be an issue that people REALLY cared about...

... cared about SO much — perhaps a little too much ! — so that we could all be (shamelessly) manipulated through it.

In the case of the EU, the bogus 'reason' for the transfer of lawmaking sovereignty away from national electorates to the institutions of the European Union, was the supposed economic efficiencies, and therefore increased wealth, to be gained from a Europe-wide 'single market' — i.e. the reason was money.

In almost identical manner, the primary capable-of-touching-everything bogus 'reason' for the transfer of sovereignty away from national electorates to global institutions is 'saving the planet' from environmental disaster — which is why the mainstream media and education system are so committed to brainwashing everyone to accept the unscientific myth of man-made global warming.

... and then along came the COVID virus... and the latest state-sponsored myth...

... this time, a killer plague ... one that strangely, inexplicably, makes relatively little difference to all-cause mortality rates !!!

...and OTT nannying health concerns were put into overdrive, with 'anti-COVID measures' providing the PERFECT cover for establishing additional global ways of working — for perhaps the only issue-as-bogus-reason to top money, is concern over serious disease and death.

So fears over COVID (constantly stoked by government and media in almost identical manner to 'project fear' over financial meltdown during the 2016 EU Referendum campaign) have been used to establish :

a global health infrastructure that can be called into action at a moment's notice — with all manner of new globally-set targets and globally-coordinated health policies
EU-style surrenders of national policymaking sovereignty — such as the WHO Pandemic Treaty, which gives the WHO the power to declare pandemics and specify the 'anti-pandemic measures' to be taken by member states
and the precedent of government just taking to itself the non-existent right to set aside established democratic procedures and due legal process in order to make all manner of controlling intrusions into everybody's daily lives. All 'for our own good', of course. Just like the EU.

... and, just like all-things-EU, there comes too an unfamiliar, unwelcome sense of onerous, open-ended accountability to others — an accountability that it is never possible to fully 'live up to' (should one ever wish to try), so in reality simply becomes another way for undemocratic, controlling government to keep everyone generally feeling bad about themselves.

... and once the 'Covid response' is done with us all — if it ever is — our 'esteemed leaders' will doubtless feel it their 'duty' to ramp-up the fear factor once again using a different state-sponsored myth as baseless excuse to justify another round of inhuman prohibitions on law-abiding, freedom-loving citizens. In this regard, the Climate Change myth looks set to be the most likely candidate.

Their vision of UNDEMOCRATIC global lawmaking, UNACCOUNTABLE privately-run public services and an AUTHORITARIAN 'politically correct' public culture DOES NOT REPRESENT A BRIGHT NEW FUTURE. In two horrendous world wars, previous generations fought and died to maintain nationhood, liberty, democracy and a moderate conscience, common sense and individuality-respecting Judaeo-Christian culture in Britain, Europe and across the world.
